how the floor runs
Club Rules
Last reviewed: this season.
These are the house rules for ANTIGRAV. Booking a station or walking onto the floor means you're happy to play by them. None of it is a surprise — it's the same courtesy that keeps thirty stations and eight pods running smoothly for everyone in the room.
Hours & booking
The floor opens daytime and evening every day, with an overnight block on weekends. Reserve ahead through the booking form or walk in when there's room. If plans change, tell us before your window starts and we'll release the seat — you only ever pay for time on a station, so a cancelled booking costs nothing but the heads-up.
Pods & stations
- The recliner pods hold you at a weightless 135° — recline gently, don't force the frame past where it stops.
- The overhead monitor arm is set for you; nudge it to eye level, but leave the mounting alone.
- Blankets, footrests and hoods stay with the pod for the next player.
- Bring your own keyboard, mouse or headset and plug into the front ports — just take it home with you.
Conduct on the floor
Keep it easy for your neighbours. Voice chat at a reasonable volume, headsets on for anything loud, and no leaning into someone else's session uninvited. Competitive nights are about points and personal best times — never money on the line. There is no wagering of any kind at ANTIGRAV, and anyone trying to arrange it will be asked to leave.
Food, drink & care
Lidded drinks are fine at any seat. Light snacks belong at the desks; anything messier is better handled at the lounge tables so the gear stays clean. Treat the hardware like it's yours for the hour — report a fault at the desk rather than wrestling with it, and we'll swap you to another seat.
Liability
We keep the equipment maintained and the room in good order, but you play at your own comfort. Look after your belongings; the club isn't responsible for personal items left on the floor. We may update these rules as the club grows — the current version always lives here.
